Truffle Fair and Truffle Dog Competition in Vilanova de Prades

In mid-January, our town celebrates the Truffle Fair and the Truffle Dog Contest. In this event, you can enjoy the technical days, aimed at a more professional audience, the technical exhibitors of the sector, a showcooking, always in the hands of a prestigious chef and who values ​​this gastronomic treasure, and of the fair with points of exhibition and sale of products Km 0, of tastings of tapas with truffle and local wine.

During the day, the truffle dog competition is also held, the largest of the competitions held throughout the territory and which is the biggest event of the fair and which generates great anticipation among the audience.

Without a doubt, this is one of the most special weekends in Vilanova de Prades and the Serra de Prades Resort collaborates, among others, with a special menu with truffles in our Restaurant “Els Ceps.”

The 2022 edition of the Black Truffle Fair will be held on the morning of Sunday, February 13th.
