Last Wednesday the Chamber of Commerce of Reus celebrated the night of awards.
The Serra de Prades Resort campsite was the winner in the “Reus Comarcal Chamber Awards” category. This distinction was awarded for being a reference campsite in the area; by 1994 a visionary and his family were able to turn a disused almond grove into a large-scale, sustainable, modern tourism project, surrounded by nature and agrotourism.
The town, which until then had suffered from demographic and economic regression, is now in full growth, thanks in large part to the income provided by that dream come true by Antonio Guiu, his wife and children, Josep Ramon, Xavi and Toni, who have become great connoisseurs of inland tourism, involved with the territory and tourism innovation, earning an important place in the world of camping.
